Fast fashion is one of the largest contributers of waste, pollution, and global warming. One of the best ways to reduce waste in our landfills is by recycling and donating our unwanted clothes. NYC has hundreds of drop-off locations and free resources for residents to donate their unwanted articles (of clothing, shoes, accessories, and more!) and Sustaine's mission is to compile these resouces onto one easily-accessible site, in turn, reducing the amount of waste in our landfills and slowing down the consequences of global warming.

How Do You Want to Donate?

• In America alone, an estimated 11.3 million tons of textile waste - equivalent to 85% of all textiles - end up in landfills on a yearly basis (Source).
• Sustaine compiled over 100 free NYC resources to encourage sustainability, promote charitability in our communities, and reduce carbon emissions.
